Learning and Leading through Grief and Loss

Through years of client work, I’ve heard countless stories of grief being not only inadequately supported, but made even harder by the workplace itself. At work, people facing loss are often met with silence, misunderstanding, pressure to function as ‘normal’, or a lack of informed support. We live in a grief-avoidant culture at the best of times - and I believe there are few places where our misunderstandings about grief are revealed more starkly. It is also through our organisations and places of work that change can most powerfully take root.
