A Toolkit for Life and Loss: Online Support Group

This group offers a clear, structured way to be guided through the Grief Recovery Method®. Wherever you are in your journey with grief, I’ll be creating a safe and relaxed environment to help you develop the skills for living with – and moving forwards with – all types of loss.

Who the group is for

Some people joining this group are bereaved. Some are navigating other losses, such as divorce, estrangements, pet loss, career changes or chronic illness, and will find this just as helpful. Maybe these events have happened recently, or took place long ago and you still feel the impact.

You may want to learn how to better support others in their grief, or work in mental health, pastoral care, or related fields. You might simply be curious to experience the powerful, evidence-based methodology I work with. The tools you learn will equip you for life, and improve your existing relationships.

How this work is different

This may be slightly different from other support groups you may have heard of, or even attended. I use a well-established approach that will guide you through the action steps needed to recover from the pain and isolation of grief in all forms – we use these words carefully.

For this reason, there’s a manageable amount of important reading and a small task to complete between sessions. You’ll need access to a computer with a strong internet connection and a quiet space where you won’t be disturbed, conducive to deep personal work.

Structure and commitment

The programme starts on Tuesday 10th February 2026, at 7pm GMT, and we’ll continue to meet for approximately two-hour sessions for eight weeks. I’ll be providing individual support between meetings when needed. There will be an extra follow-up session on Tuesday 14th April 2026.

The group is being carefully put together and numbers are limited.

Cost: £540 for the full programme. There is one bursary available.

Please contact me or book a free call through the website to attend. I’m happy to talk briefly if you’d like to find out more.

What past attendees say

I feel really grateful to be given an opportunity to take part in the Grief Recovery Programme. It has helped me to reflect on my key relationships in life, understand grief from a new perspective and deal with the loss. In addition, I have gained skills I didn't anticipate, such as better communication and listening skills. I wish I had come across this programme much earlier in my life.

I can see how the success of completing this programme is highly dependent on the skills and knowledge of the facilitator. Jess could clearly explain all of the steps of the Grief Recovery Programme. Her patience, listening skills and compassion created a safe space for our group where we all felt comfortable dealing with our painful, conflicting emotions.

I highly recommend working with Jess and engaging in the Grief Recovery Programme” – Hope, Berks

“Taking part in Jess's online grief recovery course has been truly invaluable. It has nourished my soul and soothed my heart in ways I didn’t think possible. The process offered gentle guidance through difficult emotions, creating space for healing and hope. Throughout, Jess, inspired complete confidence — Her kindness, understanding, and genuine support made all the difference. She created a safe, compassionate space where every person felt seen, heard, and valued. I am deeply grateful for this experience” – Fiona, Barcelona.

“Jess provided a safe space so I could dig deep into all the emotions - not just the grief. Her very clear demonstrations and instructions were very helpful. When I got lost she would guide me back on track with great care and tenderness. It was a real gift to have Jess as a facilitator!” – Natasa, Berlin
